Get all the vaccinations and routine checkup done- Routine check-up will include eye and dental exams and gives the opportunity to detect the health problems early. Vaccinations help in preventing various diseases.
Keep the children active- You need to ensure that children indulge in some form of physical activity in a day. It helps in strengthening the muscles and raises the heart rate. Find safe, active and fun things for the kids like enrolling them in a sports activity, taking them swimming, etc.
Lead a smoke-free life- Even secondhand smoking is quite harmful to your family. You should be smoke-free while you are pregnant in order to prevent premature birth and other medical problems. Monitor the kid’s activities- Kids will learn from friends, family, school, and media. You should know about what they are doing with their spare time, what activities they are engaging in and whether it is age-appropriate, who they are hanging out with and so on.
