niversal Websites Ltd (UWL) the company that brought us www.4dp.com,
the world's first search engine dedicated to people with disabilities,
is about to embark on another industry first. It's an effort that
will have people getting together in Great Britain.
www.4dpTogether.com
is a new addition to the 4dp offerings, providing people with
disabilities with the ability to find not only love and friendship
on the web, but also to give information about their own disability
or condition and how it affects them (profile). This is a unique
facility for people to search for others who may be in similar
circumstances as themselves.
The profile search is simple; when visitors register
on 4dptogether.com, they complete the online profile form, provide
information about themselves, and enter details on how they cope
with their disability, share their experiences, achievements or
advise on how they overcome everyday issues. The system then searches
for 'keywords' within each profile that would match with other
people in similar situations. The search system is so accurate
that users could be liasing with like-minded people within minutes.
Members can contact each other with complete confidence and security,
as the results do NOT give personal details on screen other than
first name and profile.
However if desired, users can provide photos of
themselves, their pets, etc to a recipient and begin correspondence
with them. It is totally secure and they are in control. Who knows,
users could even meet the man/woman of their dreams. It is open
to all.
4dptogether will also match profiles of people
closest to where each other live. So users could easily meet members
at a social gathering, or any place of their choosing. However,
it is stressed that you should always be sure to meet where there
are other people present.
Never before has this kind of facility been available
to people with disabilities in Great Britain. Neil Allday, Managing

Becoming a member is up to 70% cheaper than other

as many profiles as desired, the need to become a member only
applies if they subsequently wish to communicate with other profile
